sorry. my terminology was wrong. I successfully rotated the content of a table
rather than the table itself. this was a wasted effort as the result included:
1. non rotated special characters which included numerals
2. distortion of the indention of lines which were centered rather than left
justified
3. gross changes to the table's size & shape
4. the inability to rectify #3
5. the inability to move that table
i will use scissors & scotch tape to create a 2 sided placard.
