Bug ID: 129060
Summary: Problems with tables and arrows in LibreOffice:
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.3.3.2 release
Hardware: Other
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: kghelland at gmail.com
Description:
A colleague of mine has created a user guide based on using tables in the
Microsoft Word program.
In the table cells he has inserted grabbed screenshots of the file formats jpg
and png.
He has also entered text into associated cells to the right of the relevant
screens.
To show current locations in the images, from related texts, he used arrow
symbols.
The final document is then stored in the docx file format.
When I load his text file (docx) into LibreOffice, parts of his arrows
disappear "under" the images instead of "over" the images.
Some arrows have also moved, and are now in the wrong location relative to the
original file locations.
I try to "click and drag" on the pictures. This does not work properly.
If I copy an existing arrow (with ctrl + c) and click on an image and press
ctrl + v, the arrow will paste in a completely different place than the image I
selected.
If I click in a cell that contains text, the copy arrow is stored, but not
where the cursor is, so I then have to "click and drag" to get it positioned
correctly.
An existing arrow that is "hidden" under an image cannot be displayed over a
picture by clicking and dragging it, but you can copy the same arrow (ctrl +
c). (ctrl + x) and then paste it somewhere in the text cells (ctrl + v), then
the arrow over the image.
Steps to Reproduce:
It's all explained in Description.
Actual Results:
It's all explained in Description.
Expected Results:
That all should work fine.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
