I assume by Luddite you mean this:
One who fears technology (or new technology, as they seem pleased with how
things currently are...why can't everything just be the same?)

That's not the case. Those of us using tools to do something need those tools
to stay stable until the task is done. I upgrade often, between projects. I'm
not between writing projects right now, hence my fear of the knee-jerk response
"upgrade to the latest and then test." My fear was justified. Other things
broke. This book has missed the Christmas market now. The two others behind it
are delayed.
