Bug ID: 128003
Summary: Outlines and transparent objects of SVG are not
imported correctly in Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.2.6.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: ulrich.moser at zpk-moser.de
Description:
I have created a logo in Inkscape that has a blurred shadow under the text. The
size of the SVG image is exactly the size I want in my Writer document. The
text has been converted to curves to be able to scale the image to any size I
want and so the characters are individual objects. When importing the shadows
of the character are no longer aligned to the middle but occur in various
positions relative to the characters. Some are more to the left other more to
the right and again others up or down.
Alternatively I tried a thin outline for each character but the imported SVG
shows thick outlines covering halft of the characters space.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.create an text in Inkscape (my version 0.91 r13725) 15 x 40 mm
2.convert the text to paths and duplicate the object
3.change the colour to black with fuzziness of 3.0
4.move the so created shadow to the background
5.save the SVG and import it to Writer
Actual Results:
See description
Expected Results:
Shadow should stay aligned as in the SVG image
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
OpenGL enabled: Yes
