            Bug ID: 128050
Summary: Feature Request: Button for hiding the tabbed UI
symbol bar without the names of the tabs
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.3.0.4 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: UI
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: kdedk at protonmail.com

Description:
The tabbed UI has a lot of advantages, but one disadvantage is that it takes a
lot of vertical space. Because of that, it would be great to have a button to
temporary hide the tabs and only keep the selection bar for them (The bar with
"File", "Home", ...). This button could, for instance, be integrated into the
selection bar for the tabs, for example at the most right side.
This is a feature that is also integrated into other office suites that have a
tabbed UI.

Steps to Reproduce:
Switch to the tabbed UI and try to hide the tab.

Actual Results:
Tabs with Symbols in tabbed UI are not hideable.

Expected Results:
There is a button to hide the tabs but not the selection bar.

Reproducible: Always
