Bug ID: 128064
Summary: Find and replace often does not find all instance and
sometimes does not find any instances of letter(s)
being searched for
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.1.3.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: rpeasley at saultchurch.com
Description:
I often use Find and Replace for editing chord charts - changing keys. When I
use the find and replace feature, setting Format specifications such as font,
size, and bold or italics, Writer will not find all instance and often won't
find any.
I took a screen shot that illustrates the issue, but I don't see any way to
attach it below.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open document and click on Edit then Find and Replace
2.Put in a search letter
3.Click on Find All
Actual Results:
No letters found or only partial letters found
Expected Results:
All matching letters found
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
[Information automatically included from LibreOffice]
Locale: en-US
Module: TextDocument
[Information guessed from browser]
OS: Windows (All)
OS is 64bit: no
