I can reproduce this, and it manifests as an assertion failure in a debug
build:

soffice.bin: /.../libreoffice/sc/source/ui/docshell/docfunc.cxx:1706: bool
ScDocFunc::InsertCells(const ScRange&, const ScMarkData*, InsCellCmd, bool,
bool, bool): Assertion `!"can't move"' failed.

This is with a (debug) build from 1efe1f82fabb3b8566c0beca2ba5df21c54fa6d5.
What I can say is that there's no crash with the current latest linux bibisect
(non-debug) build: de4839e66d3d195315729b95cc144cdab96b6e74. Considering most
of the changes are from the past few days, this doesn't tell a lot either way.
