It's very well POSSIBLE, you just have to want it. These days it seems much
easier in Inkscape/SVG to do these kind of things than it is with LO Draw:
Consider you want all your graphics objects use the same font or font size, or
you want specific classes of drawing objects to have some consistent font, font
size, fill pattern, outline line width, etc.
I'm aware that most people don't think or work like that, but how can people
change if it's not "possible"?
