Bug ID: 128452
Summary: Not possible to move a table with the finger in writer
on iOS
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: Other
OS: iOS
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: iOS
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: contact at 0x17.ch
Description:
A table in a writer document can't easily be moved using a finger. From a user
perspective it would be nice to be able to move a table much like a picture.
This functionality is available for tables in impress using an icon that shows
four arrows (left, right, up, down) - see attached picture.
Text should preferably flow around the table.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a writer document on iOS
2. Add some text and a table
3. Try to move the table on the page.
Actual Results:
It's not possible to move the table.
Expected Results:
A user should be able to drag/drop a table on the page.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
Newer MS Word versions have this feature it probably makes sense to check there
how users can move an existing table.
