            Bug ID: 128490
           Summary: Suggestiong: Line/Fill Color: Set style to solid if it
                    was none before
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.4.0.0.alpha1+ Master
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Impress
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: notebook22312 at gmail.com

Note: The following description explains only about `line color` behaviour. But
it also refers to fill color behaviour, as it is the same.

Note2: This suggestion applies to Writer and Calc (and Draw(?)) as well.

Current situation:
=====================
(1) Line color and line style are two completely independent settings.
(2) You can set the line color as much as you want. As long as the style says
`None` there will be no effect.

Problem:
=====================
- In case of Impress, there are no style settings shown in the default UI. For
the novice user it looks like he/she cannot set the colors
- Imo a continuous line is the common case. For this common case it's necessary
to do two steps, even though the second step is very likely to happen.

Suggested behaviour:
=====================
(3) If the style is `none` and a color gets set to something, the style changes
to `continuous` (or `color` regarding fill colors).

Why?
=====================
Imo a user who sets a color, usually want this color to take effect. Setting a
color with style `none` is rather unlikely. As (imo again) the common case /
most simple case is a solid/continuous style. Any other style would be set by
the advanced user later.
