I have just tried LO 6.2.7.1 and the DB is still read only. 

While trying 6.2.7.1 I also got the old substituting table name error which I
had back in April this year. To fix it required changing the
db:paramenter-name-subsitution from false to true in the content.xml file.

Am I really the only person who uses a mysql/mariadb database with LibreOffice
and forms?
