hello, 

problem also occuring after a normal 'save' or 'save as' of a file (with too
many comments), 

problem occuring with different OS (Linux) and flavours of LO, 

problem also occuring and reported with AOO (apache open office), 

similar problem occuring with LO writer (plenty comments slow down the program
till unusable), 

problem not! occurring in Ex$el, can bear 8 times more comments than calc
before impact on performance, with 2 to 4 times bigger difference reg. the
system tested on, 

problem not! occuring in Wo$d, can bear 6 times more comments than writer
before becoming really slow, with 2 to 4 times bigger difference reg. the
system tested on,
