@Luiz: In case you still have it: Can you paste the version information from
"Help" -> "About LibreOffice" of that master build? (to know which VCL plugin
is being used)

I currently cannot reproduce such a slowdown on Debian testing with either a
master build or LibreOffice 6.3.0 as provided by Debian.

Since KProtocolManager is involved and the assumption is that this is
DNS-lookup related, this might e.g. be dependent on:

* network setup (DNS, proxy settings,...)
* version of the underlying kf5 library that contains KProtocolManager (I think
that is KIO)

Could you possibly experiment a bit more here to find something that works for
you in order to further narrow down the cause?
