            Bug ID: 127631
Summary: Impress becomes unresponsive after showing slide with
                    animation in .ppt file
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.3.1.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: jdien07 at mac.com

Description:
In the Linux version but not the OS X version, Impress becomes unresponsive
after showing slide with animation in .ppt file (attached).

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open file
2.navigate to the fourth slide
3. start slide show at current slide

Actual Results:
slide is shown normally but animation does not occur. Furthermore changing
slides with arrows no longer works. The slide does not change. If one presses
escape to leave slideshow mode or one uses right-click, it becomes evident that
Impress has been keeping track of the slide changes, it's just not updating the
slide on the screen.

Expected Results:
A click should trigger an animation effect of an image object appearing on the
slide. Further clicks should trigger two more such animated objects. A
further click should advance to the next slide. An arrow press should change
the slide being shown.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
I see this bug under Linux (Pop os, a variety of Ubuntu) but not under OS X
(both with the same version of Libre Office).
