Bug ID: 127775
Summary: Crash in: libc-2.27.so after opening a new Writer
window with Manage Changes shown
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.3.0.4 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: tomaspartl at centrum.cz
This bug was filed from the crash reporting server and is
br-dfbaeafa-bd42-4c5c-afe5-d22ee698877c.
=======================================
I was researching this bug
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127218 and when I used the
gtk3 backend, I was able to repeatedly crash Writer like this:
1) Start Writer.
2) Open the Manage Changes dialog.
3) Open a new Writer window via File->New->Text Document
4) Switch back to the original window.
5) CRASH!
I should also note that my system is Xubuntu which uses xfwm4 and from the
above bug, it seems this MIGHT be causing some problems for LO.
So, don't pay much attention to this bug yet. I'll try it out with other window
managers or maybe a newer xfwm4.
