          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)

Description:
Hi.

I line number a document.

I want a vertical border between line numbering and my document body content.

The modified style with a border setup seems not apply (see below steps to
reproduce)

Nothing appears.

The alternative way seems to apply a left border to document body content
(paragraph...).

Not sure it is a bug, but seems dysfunction.

Can you confirm?

Thanks.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. menu "tools"/ "line numbering" : to line number the document
2. style dialog (F11), "characters styles") "line numbering", "modify",
3. I set up a line border (width, color...), and apply. -> nothings appears

Actual Results:
Style do not apply

Expected Results:
A style modification applyed

Reproducible: Always
