            Bug ID: 131884
Summary: EDITING: 'As Character' image disappears after
                    inserting next image
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.4.2.1 rc
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: robert at familiegrosskopf.de

Zip-file, contains a folder with writer-document and image

Extract the attachment.
There is a folder with a Writer-document. This document contains some
dummy-text and an image between the two paragraphs.
Open the document.
Enter a return at the end of the last paragraph.
Go to Insert > Image and insert the image, which is in the extracted folder.
The image will be inserted but the image, which has been in the document, will
disappear.

This buggy behavior appears in LO 6.4.3.1 under OpenSUSE 15.1 64bit rpm Linux.
It appears also on different systems and different LO-versions, as tested by
German users.

Note: If you open the navigator you could see the image is part of the
document. Dubbleclick on "Bild1" will show the image at the bottom of the page,
outside the border of the text-content. You could get it back with changing the
anchor to "As Paragraph"

Note 2: This buggy behavior doesn't exist if I will add the next image on a new
page by setting returns to get the new page or by setting a page break before
inserting the new image on the next page.
