Yes there are precedents, David and Goliath for example ;-)

Your analysis sticks to reality.

But if migration there is as much as it is not in pain.
All this is true for large accounts which will never switch to free software,
but, for me, it seems to me that this is not the case for SMEs, SMIs which do
not have the same budgets.

For example, my daughter is independent and works with very large Anglo-Saxon
and French clients.
She can not afford to roughly and it must have an excellent compatibility, but
would be very happy to significantly reduce its software budget.
