Bug ID: 132274
Summary: Writer does not allow a user-set default view/zoom
Product: LibreOffice
Version: Inherited From OOo
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: will at groupmail.com
Description:
Some people want documents to open at a particular zoom/view, regardless of the
setting in the document they are opening. Writer does not currently allow this
(insofar as I have been able to find).
This may be more true for people who do not have large screens and/or have poor
eyesight.
This may not technically be a bug but its omission is quite annoying.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a document you have not created.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
The document opens according to the preferences of the person who created the
document.
Expected Results:
The document should open according to the preferences of the person who is
opening the document and will be the one reading it.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
N/A
