You don't include the comment in your selection. Put the cursor at the end of
the paragraph. Move with right arrow to the right (appearance of the comment
line changes). Now select text with arrow to the left.

I think the problem is, that there is no way to mark a comment at the end of a
paragraph with the mouse (haven't tried with touchpad).
