That's up to your OS/DE. I'm on KDE and the file browser has a context menu
where I can switch the breadcrumb into a edit field that allows to copy the
path. 
Plus, we put some options in the footer of the standard dialog which impairs
usability. Adding more and more won't improve the situation. 
Keeping the ticket open for other opinions but suggest to resolve as WF.
