@Telesto, IIUC those varying VCL canvas spacings on a line of text at differing
zoom level is exactly the requirement Khaled laid out for improving the
Harfbuzz based layout. The FP (or alternative integer scaling) is also needed
for correctness in sub-pixel rendering, a.k.a ClearType rendering support.
