I tried a couple of things following your advice on profile reset.

While loading the document I've mentioned in my initial report:
- Writer works fine in Safe mode with profile reset.
- Writer works fine with a fresh profile.
- Writer crashes as described above with LanguageTool v5.0.1 extension
installed on a fresh or existing profile.
- Writer works fine with LanguageTool v5.0 extension installed on an existing
profile.

At this point I'm assuming that the problem is somehow related to the
LanguageTool v5.0.1 extension. I've reverted to v5.0 and things seem to be
stable so far.

If this is enough to close the issue as resolved then I'm happy with that.
Unless you see a need to investigate this further. Setting back to UNCONFIRMED.
