            Bug ID: 135715
Summary: enhancement: in writer view and edit two pages
                    side-by-side
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ Master
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: susancragin at earthlink.net

It would be wonderful to have an edit view of two pages at a time.

I used to work in an office that had wordperfect, which has a 2-page display.
That way you basically could view and edit your work like a book, two pages at
a time.

Like many people, I have an office screen that is 28" wide. Half the time I am
writing very long and complex documents that will be printed on standard US 8.5
x 11 paper.

I also edit brochures that are to be printed on half-sheets, 5.5 x 8.5.

I know you're going to say just use 2 columns and set the paper size to double,
and then just change it when you print, but that is a lot of work and the
result is not always accurate.
