I meant that the function needs only to transform the URL (stored as string in
the database) to a clickable link in the generated report (which means in
Writer document), not in the backend database.

For example HYPERLINK receives as arguments a label and the URL string, then
create a clickable link.

The example code you provided is not suitable if the total number of rows is
not known before the execution of the query, which changes depending on the
query needed for the report.
