- you are trying to insert a field into a manually created report ?

- you are using LO6.1 (which is obsolete, and no longer supported) ?

I seem to recall that this was a known bug, but as your version is now
obsolete, you will need to try with the latest production release on your
operating system to see if the problem is still present.

Please also indicate which kind of database you are using (default embedded
hsqldb, embedded experimental Firebird, or some other database connection).
