Bug ID: 138971
Summary: Formulas in presentation saved with powerpoint do not
show
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.1.0.0.beta1+
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Impress
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: thomas.mitterfellner at gmail.com
Created attachment 168221

test case containing text and formula, pptx format
When I open a presentation with a formula saved in Powerpoint in Libreoffice
Impress, the text is shown but the formula is missing.
- Libreoffice 5.3.6.1 did show the formula although via some kind of
non-editable overlay over the editable text part which made the slide almost
unreadable.
- In Libreoffice 6.4.7.2 and 7.1.0beta1, the overlay is gone but also any
traces of the formula
I tried saving in Powerpoint in odp format and in pptx format, both show the
same problem. The pdf export shows the correct document.
