Bug ID: 139042
Summary: Freeze Rows And Columns Only freezing a row OR a
column
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.1.0.0.beta1+
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: andrewsw88 at gmail.com
Description:
Document contains latitude data in columns and longitude data in rows. While
attempting to freeze both column A and Row 1 (lat and long title cells) Calc
only freezes either the row or the column. Attempted to select row 2 and column
B to preserve title cells which yielded the same results.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open sample data to populate sheet
2. Select row 2 & column B
3. Right-click on either title of column or row.
4. Select Freeze rows and columns
5. Scroll either down or to the right depending on whether you right-clicked on
the row or the column.
Actual Results:
If you right-clicked on the row title and froze the row, only the row will be
frozen. If you right-clicked on the column title and froze the column, only the
column will be frozen. The Freeze Rows and Columns option does not freeze both.
Expected Results:
Selecting both row 2 AND column B, right-clicking on either title, and
selecting Freeze Rows and Columns should have frozen both row 1 and column B to
preserve headings while scrolling through the data.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
