Bug ID: 139324
Summary: Table of Contents Not Working Properly
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.0.3.1 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: wac1606 at gmail.com
Description:
The ToC in a single document (a) does not indent any index items beyond level 2
and (b) allows editing of the styles but does not implement the edits. The
problem seems to be confined to a single document which is attached.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Insert a Table of Contents
2. Create appropriate index entries
3. Update the Index
4. Edit and save the Style for Title for the Index
Actual Results:
ToC Title format not changed.
Index entries greater than level 2 are not indented.
Expected Results:
ToC Title format is changed.
Index entries are indented based on their assigned index levels.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
I have only found this problem on one document which is attached. I have taken
the following steps to attempt to address the problem:
1. I have reset the user profiles on each machine running LO.
2. Have opened this document on other machines running the same version of LO.
The same result was achieved regardless of machine.
2. Have deleted the ToC and all the index entries and then recreated them on
the same document. No change in result.
3. Using other Writer documents have successfully entered, updated and edited
the index entries and ToC.
With regard to OpenGL, I do not show and entry under Tools|LibreOffice|View
that is titled "Use OpenGL for all rendering". There is a line for "Use
hardware acceleration" but it is grayed-out.
