Bug ID: 130477
Summary: Calc hyperlinks and email addresses automatically
given gray/grey background rendering the text near
impossible to read
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.0.7.3 release
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: broadsworde at gmail.com
Description:
Any time you add a link or an email address to a Calc sheet, the text is
formatted as blue with a gray/gray background, almost impossible to read, and
the background is impossible to remove or change colour.
Key words: FORMATTING
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select text in a cell
2. Insert > Hyperlink... > type or paste hyperlink > OK
3. Or, enter any email address and press Enter
Actual Results:
Inserting a hyperlink or entering an email address results in the text being
automatically formatted as blue on a gray/grey background.
The text with this combination of blue on gray becomes very difficult to read
without increasing font size.
The gray background colour is not removable, nor can it's colour be changed.
Expected Results:
Background colour should not be applied by default, as this is not standard
HTML or XML behaviour.
Background colour on hyperlinks should be modifiable like any other style.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
Background colour should not be applied by default, as this is not standard
HTML or XML behaviour.
Background colour on hyperlinks should be modifiable like any other style.
