Oliver's issue is different from the OP: the OP describes a case whereas
indexing does not work, even if the file is renamed to SXW (SXx in general).

^^^ this is not the case with the OP whereas the persistent handlers for ODT
files are correct from the start.

Summarizing, I believe that it we are talking different issues, that require a
different testing approach and solution. As such, perhaps it would be better
for Oliver to file a different issue?
