Is it specific to this file or does it happen on every odb file with embedded
Firebird?
Would it be possible you attach the file so we can give a try? (see

Do you reproduce this with embedded HSQLDB file?

You must know that few work is done on Base because of lack of resource.
Moreover, Firebird is hardly maintained.
