            Bug ID: 130993
Summary: LO7: Help now includes embedded shortcuts,
                    unacceptable l10n
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha0+ Master
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Documentation
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: miles at filmsi.net
                CC: olivier.hallot at libreoffice.org

Description:
Changed help contents from 6.4 to 7.0 now contain strings like PmCx7:
If you just press <embedvar
href="text/shared/00/kbd_shortcuts.xhp#pagebreak"/>, you apply a page break
without a change of styles.

This is not OK, as world languages (unlike English) have cases and also
localize the names of keyboard keys (so Ctrl is not Ctrl, but has a name, like
"krmilka" in Slovenian, which is a female noun. As such the keys' names must be
used in proper case (for example with a different ending, i.e. krmilka might
become krmilke, krmilko etc.), which your code/solution cannot offer.

This means that all such help text changes in master must be undone, ASAP.

Use switches instead (or find some other solution).

Programming (help) texts with such simple programmatic solutions for all LO
l10n languages just isn't possible, sorry.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Localize Help.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Find strings like that.

Expected Results:
Strings like that just cannot be properly localized in all LO languages.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
