reproducible with:

This looks like a problem with conditional formating, e.g. cell $2020.$E$14 

Formula is AND((MONTH($A$1)=3);NOT(ISNUMBER(E14)))
Conditional Style_7

shows "43908" instead of "3/18" 

but *not* reproducible with:

Version: 6.2.8.2 (x64)
