            Bug ID: 129760
Summary: an empty input field is invisible, unless the cursor
                    happens to land on it
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.3.4.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: sdc.blanco at youmail.dk

To see the problem:

1. Open attachment 155996

2. Put some blank spaces after the field ("New value")

3. Edit the field (e.g. double-click and remove "New value" in dialog box, OK)

4. Place cursor somewhere else (e.g., end of file)

Result: The field becomes "invisible" (e.g., try to find it with a mouse
click)

It can be found by moving the cursor (e.g., with the arrow key) until you land
on it.

Expected result (enhancement request): To leave some kind of "trace" so that a
user knows that the input field is present -- even if empty.
