procedure for crash

Thanks to all for vigorous testing.

Attached is a test document (with instructions).

NB.  "Set Variable" does not create any problems.

I just tried (type) "User Field"  (without a value).

This yields a crash for me.  (have not tried other variations, because the
crashreport goes into a loop)

Here is the latest crashreport (where I shutdown and rebooted the machine, and
only opened LibreOffice before running the test.)
