Well, that cannot be true, otherwise one of the following would be impossible:
a) selecting and cutting/ deleting content of all cells at once, or b)
selecting and cutting/ deleting the table itself. So there has to be a
difference between table and content selection states.
As a matter of fact, Writer tables are about to adopt (in 6.4) the fix provided
in tdf#118311 (Ctrl-X cuts table object, while Ctrl-C + Del simulates cutting
table content). Are LO modules supposed to be consistent w.r.t. each other?
