Summary: [EDITING] Unable To Import Image into Writer using
'Insert->Image' Receiving Error: "Image filter not
found"
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.0.7.3 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org

Description:
[EDITING] I am unable to insert an image into a writer .odt document by
clicking "Insert->Image..."
When I click into that dialog, it launches my file viewer. From there I select
the image (I have tried multiple images of different types including .jpg
.png). When I click Open the file is not inserted into the document. A dialog
appears and states "Image filter not found"
Appears to be the same behavior seen in Bug 113145.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Writer
2.Click Insert->Image...
3.Select and click open for an image.
Actual Results:
The image is not inserted into the document.
A dialog appears with the message "Image filter not found"
Expected Results:
The image should be inserted into the documents
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
I have attempted the following troubleshooting methods:
-Restting UserProfile
-Running in SafeMode
-Tried with and without Tools->Options->LibreOffice->View->Use Hardwar
Acceleration (with a full reboot in between tests)
-Tried with and without OpenGL Enabled (with a full reboot in between tests)
