Sorry that I missed the UX meeting (violin lessons really are more important ;)
)

Just a simple idea:
- Select range in document
- Ctrl+H
- <word>
- select all
- Insert > TOC and Index > Index Entry
- <word>
- OK...

I think that does work ..
