Priority: medium

Description:
I am having a hard time appending characters on cells with existing Japanese
text. I would usually have to switch my back to Roman letters again, try to
type something random, then switch back to Japanese then type something random
again to make sure I can type. After doing this for a few times, Calc then
crashes.
(I am using Mozc for my Japanese input.)
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set input method to Japanese.
2. Select cell with existing Japanese text.
3. Press F2.
4. Try adding text to existing text in Japanese.

Nothing is added.

The typed characters should have been added.
