Which version of Firebird server were you running that was used to create the
fdb file in the first place ? Just so that I can see whether I can attempt to
reproduce this.


I take it that you don't get this problem when trying to access a standalone
FDB file ?

I'm not sure I'll be able to try and reproduce this, given how restrictive
reading/writing outside of the allowed disk areas is on macOS, but I'll try and
take a look.
