Suppose you have an image in the document and want to redact the face of
someone (eg. for privacy reasons), that filled area could be useful.

I can confirm that in previous versions it was created just by selecting the
freehand redaction tool and drawing a line that closes a shape. Doing this I
never manually selected any area fill.

Now I just tried with LO version 7.0 beta 2 and the colored filled area does
not appear anymore.
