Heiko/Xisco: I'm not an expert but I know that in France we use meters,
centimeters, etc. in general but for resolution it's quite common to read "per
inch".

So I'm quite agree with MM, another option may be added.
Any thoughts here?

Sophie/Jean-Baptiste: since my opinion about resolution usage in France is
subjective and don't have any stats, I may be wrong here so don't hesitate to
tell if you disagree :-)
