Bug ID: 134907
Summary: Cannot add Glue Points in Draw v6.3.4.2.0 on Gentoo or
v6.4.5.2(x64) on Windows
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.3.4.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Draw
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: westbay6 at msn.com
Description:
After opening a new odg document in Draw, making the Glue Points toolbar
visible, and adding any number of simple shapes (rectangle, smiley face, etc)
clicking on the Insert Glue Point button has no effect; the button does not
show as highlighted (as the Connector or Glue Point Relative buttons do) nor
does the cursor or shape image change. Clicking anywhere on or around shapes
does not add glue points. Pre-selecting different shapes does not change this
behavior. Indeed, none of the buttons on the Glue Points toolbar react and all
buttons to the right of Glue Point Relative are greyed out.
This bug was first identified on V6.3.4.2.0 running on Gentoo Linux. Attempting
the same procedure on a fresh install of v6.4.5.2 on Windows 10 produced the
same failure of the Glue Point tools. Enabling/disabling OpenGL had no effect.
There is no workaround or solution that I can find.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open drawing in Draw
2. Add 1+ shapes
3. Select Insert Glue Point from the Glue Points toolbar
Actual Results:
No Glue Point added
Expected Results:
Should have been able to add Glue Points at cursor location.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
OpenGL enabled: Yes
Additional Info:
[Information automatically included from LibreOffice]
Locale: en-US
Module: DrawingDocument
[Information guessed from browser]
OS: Windows (All)
OS is 64bit: no
