            Bug ID: 134908
Summary: [ENHANCEMENT] Set Formula spacing to zero as default
                    value (Math)
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.0.0.1 rc
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: rafael.palma.lima at gmail.com

The default spacing settings for Math objects should be set to zero as default
value. Users that frequently write mathematical equations withing text
sentences need to manually set the "Formula" style to have zero spacing to both
sides. Also, on the Math Editor the users have to set the spacing to zero on
both sides.

Many people simple do not know how to do this (it took me a while to learn) and
they think that LO can't handle equations well because of this default setting
that does not make much sense.

I would recommend change all spacing for Formulas to zero. This needs to be
done in two places:

1) On the Styles defined for Formulas

2) On the Math Editor (Format -> Spacing -> Borders) set Left and Right to zero
as default.

This is the behavior that new users will expect, because this is how equations
are handled in all major office suites.
