            Bug ID: 135090
           Summary: Locale not set properly?
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.3.6.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: sean.anseo at gmail.com

Description:
I recently reinstalled LibreOffice in a new Manjaro (Linux) installation and
was surprised that Writer defaulted to Letter size paper, even though my locale
is set to Ireland (ga_IE) plus some settings for Australia. Both countries use
metric sizes.

The locale appeared to be set correctly in Settings.

After some searching for similar problems I found a reference to settings in
registrymodifications.xcu.

I noticed this line did not have a value:

<item oor:path="/org.openoffice.Setup/L10N"><prop
oor:name="ooSetupSystemLocale" oor:op="fuse"><value></value></prop></item>

After changing the value to ‘ga’ the paper size is correct.

Does this mean there is a bug in the setup or is this a packaging issue?

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install LibreOffice in Irish locale
2. create new document
3. paper size is Letter

Actual Results:
Paper size is Letter

Expected Results:
Paper size should be A4

Reproducible: Didn't try

User Profile Reset: No
