I confirm it with

Version: 7.0.0.0.beta2 (x64)
Build ID: 1c213561a365b5666167321de68c9977500c9612
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19041; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB
Calc: CL

in comparison with Word 2017

1. Problem: Font color changes from white to black
2. Problem: Position of the canvas changes (horizontal: In Word it is in line
with the text above and below; in LO it isn't)

BTW: I couldn't find any informations about a canvas in LO Help. You can select
the shapes (is this also a bug) and you can't ungroup the object
