Thanks for providing additional information.

I was able to confirm the bug (the slides in the problematic PowerPoint file
aren't entirely blank - there is a black box in the upper left corner of the
screen - but it is essentially blank besides that box appearing) using:

Version: 6.4.3.2
Build ID: libreoffice-6.4.3.2-snap1
CPU threads: 1; OS: Linux 5.3; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; 
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

I have set the status of this report to "NEW".
