this is not a typical enhancement suggestion... but it is, after all...
cause it could be the enhancement of a concept! :)

I mean, I'd like to get an idea as to what makes working with a master document
a good option? as opposed to linking "sub" documents in a a "mother document"
(a normal document)

I don't expect long explanations...

keywords would be fine... 
like functionalities which one gains by using the MD route...
or more control or/and ease...

just to get an idea


NOTE:
when I talk about using a master document or linking documents into a "mother
document" (a normal type of document), I assume a scenario like
a 100+ pages long text having 5+ chapters, which could be edited as individual
texts more easily than in the body of the book's text...
