(In reply to Heiko Tietze)

First: Thanks.
Infinite thanks to you, to all the developers and others who work for the
LibreOffice Project. I express this because the majority of users generally
demand and demand solutions for the bugs that are reported, but they rarely say
thanks to those who work selflessly on this project. But contrary to them, I do
thank infinitely for the existence of Free Software, because it is a good for
all humanity

Second: About the issue related to improving the whole process to Insert the
Page Number into documents, when we are working on LO Writer, I discovered the
existence of Bug 86630, which was created in 2014 and currently, June 2020,
almost six years later, is still open, stagnant, without any resolution from
the LibreOffice team. As I am philosophically identified with the nature of
that bug, I decided that I will take the spokesperson on it, bearing in mind
that Mr. Yousuf Philips (its author) is retired.

Third:
Regarding the topic of the button to convert text from lowercase to uppercase
or the opposite, I am referring in general to the whole set of functions that
have to do with operations to convert text to uppercase, to initial capitals in
sentences, to uppercase initials on each word, etc. I know that LibreOffice
Writer already has those options using the old Format> Text path ...
However, I will relate the following trying to be understood. When we activate
the new User Interface with Tabs, with which we feel more comfortable working,
because young people and we, the users who come from the Windows environment,
who were previously using Microsoft Office, are very pleased to use that new
interface, then in that new LO scenario the old Menus Bar disappears, which is
very logical, and it is precisely there when we notice the absence of that
button, which in the modern MS Word interface does exist, giving access to that
set of functions to change text to upper or lower case without having to resort
to hidden paths.

We, the new LO users, activate the new tabbed interface because we don't like
the main interface, because its style is too outdated, because that was what we
had criticized so many times in OpenOffice, the lack of evolution and
innovation and its old, archaic and obsolete interface similar to old Microsoft
Word 2000 and 2003. But when in 2017 some media published that LibreOffice was
working very hard to develop a new concept of User Interface, based on tabs
that alternatively encompass the entire interface LibreOffice, with a very
fresh and innovative vision, we saw that the LO project began to strongly
attract former users of Microsoft Office and I am one of them. So now I promote
the use of LibreOffice instead of MS Office, because many of us understood
that, even if we continued to use Windows, we could start migrating from
Microsoft Office to LibreOffcie, so that we could free ourselves from Office
(from Microsoft). Therefore, in the toolbar of the Home tab, in the new
interface of LO Writer (which is our favorite), that button that I have spoken
about and that other suites such as WPS Office Writer (from Kingsoft),
FreeOffice TextMaker (from SoftMaker) have created in the modern user interface
of their applications. That's all I have to say.
